Covid Street Book Re-Scheduling

It’s been a while since we’ve posted any of your wonderful images, and we thank you for continuing to share your photography while we all navigate through more lockdowns, restrictions, and perhaps more of normality in some parts of the world.

We want to let you know that the Covid Street team is continuing to work on the book which we’re all very excited about. We’d also like to add that, in consultation with some, we’ve looked at the rapidly changing environment and decided that the book needs a final chapter that reflects this new, wholly different feel on the streets now we seem to be nearing the end, but not as fast as any of us would like.

With that in mind, we’re starting to put together some images for that last chapter, ‘Endgame,’ now that a vaccine is available to some, but restrictions remain on everyone else.

We want to both round off the book with a message of positivity, and to make sure we capture the strangest winter holiday season we can remember.

From a scheduling perspective, this means we’ll be working towards the Spring publishing season. Whilst we appreciate this may be frustrating and later than expected, please know the project is continuing and we’re still looking for a few more images to complete the final section.

To summarise our next steps:

  • Please submit any of your latest high res images to www.covidstreet.com by mid January.
  • As you’ll be aware, proceeds are going towards causes helping those impacted by Covid. If you have any local charities you’d like us to include as a beneficiary, please message us and let us know, so we can be sure to take them into account.

Thank you all for your continued support. We’re very excited about this piece of history featuring your images, and will continue to update you all and in the meantime showcasing your work through our IG page.

Keep safe, and keep shooting,

The Covid Street Team
